COLLEGE PREP CLINIC STRUCTURE
Each Hybrid Cheer College Prep clinic is 4 hours composed of stunting, tumbling, baskets, and pyramids. Each clinic will begin with a 15 minute coach introduction/15 minute exit Q&A. There will be water breaks in-between each portion of the clinic and as needed.
1:15PM-2:45PM STUNTING & TUMBLING
During the stunting and tumbling portion of the clinic, the athletes will be split into two groups: stunting or tumbling. The stunting group will work partner stunting while the tumbling group moves to hard floor and works on standing, running, and specialty tumbling passes. The groups will switch after 45 minutes.
During the baskets portion of the clinic, the athletes will be split into 6 groups: two groups will receive instruction from the basket groups and perform basket tosses, the other 4 groups will be taken through various drills with the tumbling coach, focusing on body positions and proper basket technique. After each individual in the two basket groups has performed two basket tosses, two groups will rotate at a time until each group has been through all drills and baskets.
